On Thursday, May 2nd, John Shaw Billings History of Medicine Society guest speaker Richard L. Hapsel, MD, PhD, presented a lecture titled "Looking Back to Move Forward: Race and Transfusion Medicine”.
The event was cosponsored by the John Shaw Billings History of Medicine Society, IU School of Medicine Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, IUPUI Medical Humanities & Health Studies Program, IU School of Medicine History of Medicine Student Interest Group, and the Ruth Lilly Medical Library.
