On Friday, April 5th the John Shaw Billings History of Medicine Society presented a lecture titled “An Origin Story for 'Big Pharma' in the Reign of Louis XIV? An Early Modern History for the Present” with speaker Justin Rivest, professor of History at Kenyon College.
The event was cosponsored by the John Shaw Billings History of Medicine Society, along with the IU School of Medicine Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology and Division of Clinical Pharmacology, IUPUI Medical Humanities & Health Studies Program, IU School of Medicine History of Medicine Student Interest Group, and the Ruth Lilly Medical Library.
